Ophelias Crying lyrics Lyrics

song lyrics Ophelia s Crying lyrics I walked into the room then I heard you had arrived From then on it was going to be a glorious night. I hoped you d think I was beautiful I wanted you as mine with love bountiful I couldn t get you on the floor, but when Cinderella walked through the door, You held her close to you, slow-dancing, what was I to do? Chorus: Ophelia s crying tonight, Cinderella came to the ball, and the prince is holding her tight, Ophelia s crying tonight. Ophelia s crying tonight, she s not dancing at all the prince is in sheer delight, but Ophelia s crying tonight. What do you expect of me? You act mercilessly                 You know how I feel, but it doesn t seem real. I ve tried, I ve done all I can to show you I ve told you, they ve told you that I love you. My heart broke as I saw her there, laughing and playing with your hair It was as if you didn t care, you broke my heart, it isn t fair! (CHORUS) Ophelia s crying tonight, her silver tears do fall, the prince wasn t holding her tight, Ophelia s crying tonight. Ophelia s crying tonight, she s not slow-dancing at all, the prince just can see the light, so Ophelia s crying tonight. My tears fall away, I pray I won t wake up to see the light of day. and I blame myself for what happened that night, although I know it s not right. And I just have to let you go, this friendship wounds me so maybe someday you ll see, what it s like to be me... (CHORUS) Ophelia s crying tonight, baby, baby Ophelia s dying tonight, baby, baby Ophelia s lying tonight, baby, baby Ophelia s trying to make it seem alright baby, baby, now Ophelia, Ophelia s crying.* (*repeat and fade) song lyrics
