Part Of Your History lyrics Lyrics

song lyrics Part Of Your History lyrics I always knew I didn t ever want to slow you down That you d do great things I was there when you learned To use your wings And I saw you leave the ground And maybe the reason I was here at all The time I spent in your sweet arms Was the best time that I ve known Was to see you carry on So don t you know I still remember How once I was someone to you And girl you were meant For something better It doesn t matter anymore What you think of me I m just proud to be Part of your history Cause you were growing up so fast And sometimes you can lose so much I knew the time was coming soon When you try to make it last I always knew you d do great things I was there when you learned I didn t ever want to slow you down To use your wings And I saw you leave the ground So don t you know I still remember How once I was someone to you And girl you were meant It doesn t matter anymore For something better I m just proud to be What you think of me Part of your history It doesn t matter anymore Cause you sent me free I m just proud to be Part of your history song lyrics
