You came in my Lyrics

song lyrics You Were My Friend lyrics Chi Coltrane You came in my home and took from me All that I had to give I thought that we would be good friends For as long as we should live I had some past experience with People just like you But I never thought you were that kind So what was I to do You were my friend, you were my friend How can you stand and lie to me And look me in the face I wish I knew what strange disease Could make you act that way All the things we did together I ve known you for so long I always did believe in you How could I be so wrong? You were my friend, you were my friend How could you let me down? You were my friend I guess for the sake of all we had I should try to understand But it just doesn t make much sense to me To trust in you again I wish we could forget it all But I don t think that we can Oh, why did this ever happen to us My best and dearest friend You were my friend, you were my friend How could you let me down? You were my friend ..Well, I guess that friendships All come to an end. song lyrics
